After coming out of the police station, he did interact with mediapersons present there. The police also did not comment over it.

According to sources, Bajwa did not disclose the source of his information based on which he made the statement during a TV interview on April 10.

On April 22, the High Court had made it clear that the police investigation into the case would continue. The government had said that it had no intention of arresting Bajwa in the case, as of now.
