The incident took place on the Railway road where flames quickly engulfed the shop. All cloth material lying in the shop was reduced to ashes in a few minutes.

The incident was captured in a nearby CCTV camera. It is stated that the night watchman deployed in the area tried to chase the miscreants, but the latter fled from the place.

A fire tender was called which doused the fire, but the whole material in the shop had been completely destroyed.
