The BJP today targeted AAP national convener and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, reminding him of his promise of providing Rs 1,000 per month to the women of the state.In a post on X, Punjab BJP working president Ashwani Sharma said four years had passed since Kejriwal gave guarantee on November 22, 2021, during a rally in Moga to provide Rs 1,000 per month to the women of the state. "Yet, not a single instalment of this promise has reached the women of Punjab till today," he said.Sharma also said the BJP Mahila Morcha would organise a major protest march on the issue in Chandigarh.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
