Chandigarh: The Punjab Government transferred one IAS and 55 PCS officers on Wednesday. These officers have been posted as Sub Divisional Magistrates in the Transport Department or as Chief Minister’s Field Officers in various districts.

33% posts in govt depts reserved for women

Chandigarh: The government has implemented the Punjab Civil Services (Reservation of Posts for Women) Rules. Under these rules, 33 per cent reservation has been provisioned for women candidates across all categories for appointment to Group A, B, C and D posts.

PPSC chief takes oath
