Mohali: A Mohali court has rejected SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia's plea for change of barrack at New Nabha jail in Patiala. Majithia had moved an application apprehending a security threat from inmates. The application was filed on July 12. He was arrested on June 25 in a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

SAD leader held in firing case

Fazilka: SAD leader Nardev Singh Mann, alias Bobby Mann, was arrested by the Fazilka police from near Chandigarh on Wednesday. He was brought to the Jalalabad City police station in the evening. The incident occurred outside the office of the Block Development Officer, Jalalabad, during the filing of nominations for the sarpanch’s election in 2024.
