BSF apprehends Pak national in Fazilka

The Border Security Force (BSF) claimed to have apprehended a Pakistani national in the Dona Raja Dina Nath border outpost area in Fazilka’s Jalalabad.

Sleuths from the 160th Battalion of the BSF challenged a person who had entered Indian territory on Wednesday afternoon. However, he did not stop and was subsequently apprehended.

Official sources said the man has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed, a resident of Parval village in the Shakargarh area of Punjab province, Pakistan.

Sources added that nothing was recovered from his possession.

The man has been handed over to Mamdot police in Ferozepur district for further investigation.
