Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Sunday recovered a pistol and contraband dropped by a drone along the India-Pakistan Border, an officer said.
He said the consignment was dropped in two packets in a field near Tendiwala by the Pakistani drone.

One of the packets contained a pistol and a magazine while the other had 548 grams of heroin. The consignment was attached to an iron hook which indicated that it was a case of drone dropping, the officer said.
“We are regularly intercepting Pakistani drones carrying consignments of heroin or arms to thwart any desperate attempts of smugglers to push arms and narcotics inside the Indian territory,” the official.
