Singh posted a picture of his father and said that he had assisted refugees torn by Partition.

“My father Yadavindra Singh Ji assisted refugees torn by Partition & worked closely with Sardar Patel Ji for integration of princely states. He served in the Army and instilled in me the idea of Nation First always. I continue to work on the path shown by him. #FathersDay,” Singh said in a Tweet.
