AAP senior leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Assembly, Harpal Singh Cheema today said new SIT to probe the Kotkapura case was to protect the Badals. “Capt Amarinder does not want the culprits and the perpetrators of desecration and firing cases to be punished and the victims get justice,” he said, adding Congress leaders should ensure justice in the desecration case. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
