The Faridkot police have registered a case after pro-Khalistan and “SFJ Zindabad” slogans were found painted on a wall of the Railways near Dashmesh Public School in Faridkot, allegedly by supporters of the banned group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). The slogans were discovered today, prompting immediate action by police.The case has been registered under Sections 196, 197, and 61(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and Section 3 of the Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 1985. The authorities suspect the act was aimed at inciting fear and disrupting peace in the area amid ongoing national security tensions.
