According to police, the incident took place when Gurwinder Singh, his wife, and daughter were standing at the gate of their house. Dilbag Singh, accompanied by his wife, arrived in a car. After dropping her off, he allegedly accelerated the vehicle and struck the three family members.

All three sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital in Moga by neighbours who responded to their screams.

Gurwinder Singh alleged that tensions escalated after their parents moved in with him a month ago, following their eviction from Dilbag’s house.

He claimed that his younger brother had been issuing threats over the past few weeks, culminating in the violent attack.

DSP Ramandeep Singh confirmed that an FIR has been registered against Dilbag Singh and his wife based on Gurwinder’s statement. Police said a detailed investigation is underway, and the accused remains absconding.
