State Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Baljit Kaur has directed officials to keep a strict watch on circulation of vulgar content on social media, saying it poses a direct threat to psychological well-being of children.

She said any complaint or information received regarding such content must be immediately shared with the police and the the Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. She also welcomed the orders issued to the ADGP (Cyber Crime) for strict action against those posting such content.
