Dunger Singh (50) of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh, who was apprehended by the BSF near the Joginder border outpost on June 1, will soon be handed over to his family.

Dunger Singh had got separated from his family several years ago. The BSF and the Punjab Police traced his family to Chhattisgarh.

He was found roaming in a suspicious manner near the International Border and was apprehended by sleuths of 124 Battalion of the BSF. However, nothing objectionable was found from his possession.

Sources in the BSF said after questioning and the verification of his antecedents, Dunger Singh’s family was traced.
