Amidst public outrage over long delays in the delivery of public services, allegedly to seek graft, the state government has decided to ensure deliverance in a time-bound manner.

In a letter written to all public dealing departments, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha has demanded a list of all applications for various public services that have not been delivered. "Keeping applications pending for long is a way of seeking graft. It will not be tolerated," he has said.
