Chouhan to take stock of flood damage today

Chouhan said on Wednesday that he would visit Punjab on Thursday.
Earlier this morning, Chouhan spoke to Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to understand the scale of the damage. He also dialled Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.
“Today, I discussed the flood situation arising due to heavy rainfall in Punjab with the Governor of Punjab, Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister and obtained detailed information," he said.
"I will reach Punjab tomorrow morning and meet my brothers and sisters in the flood-affected areas. In this hour of crisis, the Centre stands firmly with the brothers and sisters of Punjab and will provide all possible assistance,” the minister said today.
Punjab is witnessing the worst floods since 1988.
