Traffic on the Ropar-Anandpur Sahib road remained affected for over five hours on Friday after two factions of a dera clashed over a memorial gate in Bunga Sahib. The police created diversions at Ghanauli and at Nalagarh road to ensure safe passage for commuters. After a clash between the two factions of Satguru Brahma Nand Bhuriwale Sect, over 400 residents blocked the road. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
