Dr Ranju Singla, Chief Medical Officer, Muktsar, said, “People are confused over the gap between two doses of Covishield and Covaxin. We are appealing to the public to get the second dose of Covaxin after 28 days. There is no shortage of vaccine in the district now and people should come forward and get jabbed,” she said.

Cautioning against any rumours, she said 1.35 lakh people were vaccinated in the district and no adverse effect had been reported so far.
