PCC president and Ludhiana MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring today claimed that Congress-backed candidates won the top post in 50-60% of villages across the state, marking a resounding victory for the party and a clear rejection of AAP’s ‘misgovernance and false promises’.

“The people of Punjab have sent a powerful message today. Despite AAP’s relentless manipulation and misuse of power to sway the panchayat elections, Congress-backed candidates have won the confidence of people in over half of the villages across the state. This victory is not just a reflection of our party’s hard work, but also of the people’s trust in our vision for the state,” he maintained.

Warring said for the past two and a half years, AAP did nothing but deceived people with hollow promises. “Their attempt to influence these elections is just another example of their disrespect to democracy. People of Punjab have overwhelmingly chosen the Congress to lead their villages, making it clear that AAP’s days of manipulation are over,” he said.
