Special DGP (Law and Order) Arpit Shukla said the CPs/SSPs were directed to personally monitor the exercise and form sufficient number of teams to carry out checking under the supervision of SP-rank officers. He said the CPs/SSPs were also asked to conduct checking of all suspicious persons in and around the court complex, besides carrying out checking of all vehicles parked there using the Vahan app.

He said the police teams were also asked to make sure that the door frame metal detectors and the CCTV cameras installed at judicial complexes were functional.

The Special DGP said the police teams frisked 1,421 suspicious persons found roaming around the court complexes. As many as 1,850 vehicles parked there were also checked during which 62 challans were issued and one vehicle was impounded.
