Two students from LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Abohar, Harseerat Kaur and Shreeja, made their mark in the Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) India World Cup Competition 2024, securing the runners-up position.

Principal Smita Sharma praised this achievement, calling it a significant milestone in the field of mathematics. Both Harseerat and Shreeja were listed among the national top performers of UCMAS Abacus. The competition, held in Delhi, saw participation from children across 31 countries and comprised 14 challenging rounds.

The students were honoured by the organisers with trophies for their outstanding performance. Reflecting on their success, Harseerat and Shreeja credited their hard work and the support of their teachers, parents and the academy directors.School Chairman, Dev Mittar Ahuja, extended his congratulations to the students and their families for bringing pride to the school and the community.
