Talking to The Tribune, Rajesh Tripathi said, “I had gone to inspect the rickshaw stand, where the district administration planned to organise a ‘langar’ (community kitchen) tomorrow during the Maghi Mela. Two person were lying there in blankets. When they were frisked, nearly a hundred banned pills, capsules and poppy husk were seized from their possession. I have asked the SSP to take legal action against them. They were later handed over to the police.”
