Deep Sidhu’s brother to contest bypoll

Faridkot MP Sarabjeet Singh Khalsa along with Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh’s father Tarsem Singh today announced Mandeep Singh Sidhu as their candidate for the Gidderbaha bypoll.
Mandeep is the younger brother of actor-activist and founder chief of “Waris Punjab De” organisation Sandeep Singh, alias Deep Sidhu. Talking to media, Sarabjeet said, “Mandeep is our younger brother and we have announced him as our candidate for the Gidderbaha byelection.”

On being asked that Sukhraj Singh, son of Behbal Kalan firing victim Krishan Bhagwan Singh, would also contest the bypoll, Sarabjeet said, “We will talk to him. No party has a better candidate than Mandeep.”
Mandeep, a lawyer, originally belongs to Udekaran village in Muktsar district. At present, he lives in Ludhiana. He has been touring the constituency for the past some days.
