The Vigilance Bureau has booked five persons, including a doctor, and his assistant for taking bribe in lieu of issuing a false medico-legal report (MLR). In this case, one of the suspects, who has been working as a class four employee in the Ferozepur Civil Hospital, has been arrested.

According to the complaint filed by Tarsem, he had a quarrel with his wife Rekha in which his right hand bone and left leg bone were broken by his in-laws on July 9, 2020. The VB said Dr Shashi Bhushan, his assistant Ram Prasad, alias Chotu, Rekha, Shammi and Asha have been booked.
