“The USA is dictating terms on trade and tariffs all over the world for establishing its hegemony in international trade. The opening of the agriculture sector to foreign investors will prove detrimental to the interests of farmers here. This amounts to the implementation of WTO guidelines against which farmers in the country have been fighting since long,” said SKM leaders Balbir Singh Rajewal, Raminder Singh Patiala and Prem Singh Bhangu, during an interaction with media persons here on Saturday.
