Dr Ratan Gupta has been appointed the new executive director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda.

Dr Gupta brings with him a wealth of experience, dedication to excellence, and a distinguished track record in the field of medical education, research and hospital administration.

Prior to his appointment at AIIMS-Bathinda, Dr Gupta had served in various leadership roles across premier medical institutions in India. His commitment to advancing healthcare services, improving patient care and fostering academic excellence is widely recognised.

Dr Gupta’s vision for AIIMS-Bathinda includes strengthening research initiatives, enhancing super-specialty care and expanding community outreach programmes to serve Punjab and neighbouring states in a better way.

Speaking on his new role, Dr Gupta said, “It is an honour to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading AIIMS-Bathinda. I am committed to working collaboratively with the faculty, staff and students to realise the vision of making this institute a centre of excellence in healthcare and medical education.”
