Drug smuggler lands in Pathankot police net

Working on intelligence inputs gathered over the past few weeks, Anil Kumar, Sub-Inspector and In-charge of the Pathankot CIA, today arrested Jatinder Kumar, alias Kali, from Jainpur village.
The suspect, a resident of Old Taragarh, was instrumental in supplying heroin to people living in villages near the IB and also to other states. He allegedly procured the drug through drones flying in from Pakistan.
SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon said, “Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect received several packets of heroin on six occasions.”
A case has been registered at the Narot Jaimal Singh police station.
