The police have posted public notices to confiscate the properties of two drug traffickers. The police alleged they had raised the same amount using money illegally earned by the sale

of narcotics.

The notices have been pasted near the entrance of the houses owned by Vipan Batra in Waryam Nagar and Sukhwinder Singh in Patrewala village. The police said that Batra had raised immovable and movable property worth Rs 25 lakh in the drug business, and cases had been registered in the past against him.

In Patrewala village, about 17 km from Abohar, a house and 14.5 marla land of Sukhwinder Singh have been attached.
