Muktsar: Cyber crooks allegedly tried to target the DSP (Headquarters) by creating his fake Facebook account in a bid to extort money from his friends. Hemant Kumar, DSP (H), said: “Certain fraudsters created my fake Facebook account and sent friend requests to my contacts. Later, they demanded money from them. However, one of my friends got suspicious and informed me.” TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
