The “Ek Ped, Maa Ke Naam” campaign today concluded at Fazilka district court complex with plantation of saplings by Avtar Singh, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority.

The District and Sessions Judge said saplings had been planted to make people aware of environment protection.

“Man is part of environment and humaneness is not possible without nature. We should plant more trees to get relief from scorching heat. Pollution is spreading rapidly all over the world, including India,” he said.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Darbari Lal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Ajit Pal Singh, Additional District and Sessions Judge Amanpreet Singh, Civil Judge Amandeep Kaur, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ruchi Swapan Sharma, Chief Judicial Magistrate Hem Amrit Mahi, Civil Judge Sandeep Kaur and Civil Judge Parveen Singh were also present.
