Punjab Health System Corporation Chairman Ashwani Sekhri today directed all civil surgeons, medical superintendent, deputy medical commissioners and Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, to raise the standard of cleanliness in hospitals and ensure availability of medicines.

Sekhri said as per the directions of CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Dy CM OP Soni, the PHSC was committed to providing the best healthcare facilities to the people. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
