“Everyone knows that his key demand is legal gurantee on the MSP. The Centre not just provided MSP on paddy but had also sent Rs 41,000 crore for procurement of the crop. However, the farmers were forced to languish in mandis and sell their produe at lower rates. Thus, it’s the the state government whose intentions were flawed.”

Speaking on Dallewal, BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh prayed for his good health.

While Chugh eleborated on several welfare schemes of the Centre, he did not speak any further on Dallewal. Speaking on the revamp in the BJP’s organisational structure, Sampla said, “The party will soon have its entire structural set up reconstituted across the country. From booth incharges to the national president, all will be re-elected soon.”
