In view of ongoing national security concerns, the Faridkot district administration has set up dedicated control rooms to handle any crisis. Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur informed that the district control room is active at the DC office (01639-250338), with additional numbers at DC Camp Office (01639-251000, 251024), and SSP Office control room (75270-17100).

The residents are urged to strictly follow blackout protocols — turn off all lights, cover security cameras, and ensure no light escapes from windows. Emergency lights should be used only in fully enclosed rooms with drawn curtains.
