Aman Arora, Minister for Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training, congratulated her on the achievement. “The Bhagwant Mann government is actively supporting the aspirations of the daughters of Punjab who aim to serve in the armed forces,” he said.

Expressing satisfaction over regular commissioning of students of the Mai Bhago institute in the defence forces, its director general Major Jasbir Singh Sandhu said Palvi Rajput’s accomplishment would inspire many others to emulate her.

Palvi’s family belongs to Gulpur Simbly village. Her father Ravinder Singh said it was indeed a proud moment not only for his daughter, but also for the entire family.

“It is good to see girls leaving an indelible mark in society. Palvi’s achievement means more girls belonging to backward areas like Sujanpur and Dhar will come forward. I am thankful to the Mai Bhago institute that not only took care of my daughter for four years, but also honed her skills,” he said.
