Farmer’s daughter from Abohar secures Rank 9 in Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Exam

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission recently announced the final results of the Judicial Services Examination, with Kirti Bhushan topping the list.
The commission has recommended 19 new judges for appointment, including Jannat Hayer, who secured Rank 9. Other successful candidates include Vishal Thakur, Meenakshi, Mehak Gupta, Priyanka, Renu Bala, Amisha Gupta, Tanya, Sona, Priyanshi, Simranjit Kaur, Pranav Negi, Rashmi Dogra, Bindra Devi, Bhavya Saini, Urvashi, Shashi Bala, and Simran.
Jannat Hayer attributes her success to her parents, Gursaminder Kaur and Dharminder Singh Hayer, who encouraged her throughout her journey. “I feel immensely pleased about turning my mother’s dream into truth,” she said. Her mother had always envisioned her serving as a judicial officer.
Jannat completed her school education at Vidya Devi Jindal School in Hisar and pursued her graduation and LLB from Army Institute of Law in Mohali. She dedicated significant time to preparing for competitive exams.
The family celebrated Jannat’s achievement with sweets and blessings. The selected candidates will now undergo document verification before receiving their appointments. Two OBC posts remained vacant in this recruitment cycle. OC
