Protesting against the corporates over the contentious farm laws, a number of farmers today snapped the power supply to a cell phone tower of a private company in Raniwala village here. The farmers also locked the entrance of the tower premises, sources said. Some village residents said they won’t allow the tower to become functional until the farm laws were repealed.

Meanwhile, the authorities of a retail store temporarily closed it as some farmers had lodged a protest in front of it a few days ago.
