A man hailing from Fatehgarh Churian was found murdered in Melbourne on Monday even as the Victoria police had charged Ishtpal Singh (31) with his death.

Anmol Bajwa (36), father of a six-year-old daughter and three-year-old son, was murdered in a Melbourne suburb. His family raised the alarm after he did not return on Monday night.

His body, bearing injuries, was found in a playground near Elementary Road, Mambourin, on Tuesday morning.

Bajwa had immigrated to Australia and was due to celebrate his son’s birthday on Saturday. A financial dispute is said to be the reason behind his murder.
