A resident of Chack Janisar village of Jalalabad subdivision here was reportedly shot dead by two motorcycle-borne miscreants in Philippines’ capital Manila onWednesday.

Identified as Parminderjit Singh Mann (48), he was running a finance company there.

Deceased’s cousin Gurhej Singh Brar told The Tribune that the CCTV footage revealed Parminderjit was returning from a gurdwara when the accused shot him dead from point-blank range.

“The reason behindthe murder is yet to be known,” Brar added.

The deceased is survived by his wife and two sons. — OC
