Samyukt Kisan Morcha leader Gurnam Singh Charuni has yet again advocated fielding of educated candidates associated with the farmers’ struggle to form the government as people were “fed up of traditional parties”.

Addressing farmers at Malkomajra village today, he claimed traditional parties had committed atrocities on the farming community in one form or the other.

He said initiating “Mission Bengal” and “Mission UP” to defeat the BJP won’t serve any purpose as the government would eventually be formed by traditional parties. He clarified he won’t contest the elections but would raise awareness by touring Punjab.
