The state government has announced five days of special casual leave for Divyangjan employees to attend capacity-building seminars and workshops on disability.

According to a government spokesperson, Divyangjan employees can avail of one-day leave on World Disability Day (December 3), one-day leave on Louis Braille’s birthday (January 4) and three to attend seminars and workshops on disability at their convenience.

The spokesperson said the decision of the government was aimed at empowering Divyangjan employees in the state through such seminars and workshops.
