The complainant told the police that on the night of August 26, his brother Mohit went out with some youth from Alamgarh village, but did not return. The family started searching for him and found his body lying on the railway track next morning.

He claimed that Mohit had an affair with a girl of Alamgarh village. The girl’s family had come to their house and allegedly thrashed Mohit on August 26. The complainant said the suspects threatened Mohit of serious consequences if he ever tried to meet their girl again. Upset over the development, Mohit jumped before a running train and died, the complainant added.
