Faridkot: Flagged down by cops, youths drop bag with five pistols
The police have recovered five pistols and some magazines from a bag left by two unidentified youths.
The police said that they tried to stop the suspects who were riding an e-rickshaw at the bridge near Tehna village of Faridkot. On seeing the police, they ran away from the spot after dropping a bag at the Hitech checkpoint.
On opening the bag, the police recovered five pistols and some empty magazines. The police have started looking for the unknown youths.
A case has been registered against unidentified youths and police parties are being formed to search for them. They have taken into possession the CCTV footage, which showed the youths fleeing from the spot.
