Two trucks, one carrying thread and the other loaded with wooden planks, caught fire during the incident. Both truck drivers were injured and were subsequently admitted to the government hospital in Peelibanga, near Hanumangarh.

The accident occurred when multiple vehicles collided one after the other due to limited visibility caused by the dense fog. The collision was severe, leading to two trucks being completely burnt. Police and fire department teams rushed to the site, with firefighters working for over four hours to bring the fire under control.

Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries. After the fire broke out, the drivers and other vehicle occupants quickly evacuated their vehicles to safety.

Witnesses reported that a total of seven trucks, along with other vehicles, including a recovery vehicle from the National Highway Authority, were involved in the accident. The collision resulted in a massive traffic jam on the expressway, which remained blocked for nearly six hours.

The sound of explosions from the vehicle collisions attracted nearby villagers, who helped rescue the injured and transported them to the hospital. Seven fire brigades from Suratgarh, Peelibanga, and Hanumangarh were dispatched to the scene, working tirelessly to control the flames.

By noon, the fire in the truck carrying wooden planks was extinguished, while efforts continued to break open the lock of the container truck carrying thread to put out the fire.

The damaged vehicles were eventually cleared from the expressway by the police and National Highway Authority, allowing traffic to resume after approximately six hours.
