Four Drones, 940 gm heroin seized in Punjab in 24 hours

Drone and heroin confiscated by the BSF in Amritsar and Tarn Taran areas on Saturday.

The BSF confiscated four drones and contraband in Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Pathankot border areas on Saturday. Following inputs by village defence committee members, the BSF seized two drones and a packet of heroin from Amritsar. The BSF authorities said a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone and a packet containing 470 gm heroin were found in a field across the border security fence at Mullakot village here. A crashed drone was found on the rooftop a BSF building at Attari.

In a joint operation with the police, the BSF confiscated a DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone along with a packet containing 500 gm heroin during a search operation at Makhanpur village in Pathankot. Another drone was seized from a field at Kalash village in Tarn Taran.
