Moga, February 3

A court in Nihalsinghwala today sent gangster Sukhpreet Singh Dhaliwal, alias Budda, to judicial custody till February 13.

He was brought on production warrant by the Moga police from high-security Sangrur jail two weeks ago for his alleged involvement in six criminal cases in the district.

He was deported from Armenia on November 22 last year and arrested by the state police from IGI Airport, Delhi, the same day.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
