Talking to The Tribune, Jagmeet said, “I have consulted my 21-member advisory committee and decided to withdraw the nomination. However, neither have I announced to support any candidate, nor I am joining the Congress.”

He further criticised PCC chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, whose wife Amrita is contesting the bypoll as a Congress nominee. “I demand a probe and action against Raja Warring, who is facing controversies and being accused of a transport scam,” said Jagmeet.
