A BA-III student from Thikriwala village allegedly died by suicide last night after hanging herself at home. Her family said she had been distressed because they were unable to arrange college fee of Rs 5,000.

Deceased Ramandeep reportedly needed the amount to appear in exams. Family members told the police that she had been mentally disturbed for some time.
