A pall of gloom descended on Atta village near Goraya when the news of death of a village youth, Sarabjit, in Italy reached his family on Saturday. Sarabjit (26) was killed while working on a sharp fodder machine in Italy on Friday. He had gone there five years ago. Kulwinder Singh, father of the deceased, also resides in Italy.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
