Urging vehicle owners to get the high security registration plates (HSRP) affixed to their vehicles without delay, state Transport Minister Razia Sultana today said the Transport Department had increased the number of affixation centres from 22 to 82 for people’s convenience and the service would continue for the next two months. The minister said more than 5 lakh vehicle owners had applied for the HSRPs and the plates had been affixed on around 4.25 lakh vehicles. — TNS
