BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Wednesday slammed the Punjab Government for its alleged failure to tackle Covid-19. “With the highest mortality rate in the state, the CM has lost his moral right to govern the state,” said Chugh.

He was referring to reports on the state having the highest fatality rate (2 %) in the country. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
