As part of its international outreach ahead of the 6th Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit-2026, the Punjab Government today organised two ‘diplomatic roundtables’ here. One event was with ambassadors from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the other one was with the Commonwealth of Independent States region.

The engagements were chaired by Minister for Industries and Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power & NRI Affairs Sanjeev Arora. These witnessed the participation of ambassadors, senior diplomatic representatives, Ministry of External Affairs officiasl and senior Punjab Government officials.

The state pitched about the industrial ecosystem, investment-ready infrastructure, policy reforms and emerging opportunities across agriculture, agritech, food processing, IT, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

The GCC roundtable was attended by ambassadors from Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
